Q: Do you have to pay monthly or is there a flat fee?
A: Yes, you have to pay monthly. We have found that it lowers the cost for our customers and also gives them the ability to always have the current version of forms without ever having to buy an expensive "upgrade" version.
Q: How do I pay monthly?
A: It happens automatically from a credit or debit card.
Q: Can the money come out of my checking account?
A: No, unfortunately we do not offer this right now. The charge per transaction is just too high and we don’t want to pass that on to our customers.
Q: Can I be invoiced and send a check every month instead of using a credit card?
A: No, we do not offer this option right now.
Q: Is there a trial period?
A: Yes, we invite you to take advantage of our 30-day risk free guarantee with any purchase. If for any reason you are unhappy, just let us know within 30-days and we will send you a refund.
Q: Can I cancel at any time?
A: When you purchase TurboLaw Document Software, you have a period of 30 days from your date of purchase to cancel and receive a full refund. After that, you are required to continue to pay for one year. Should you need to cancel after that, it is your option to continue your updates and support subscription.
Q: Do I own the software if I cancel?
A: If you cancel within the 30-day trial period, you do not own the software. After that, you own the software after one year.
Q: How does the licensing work for TurboLaw?
A: Each computer needs its own license. You can install and register TurboLaw on however many computers you are licensed to have.
Q: When I buy, how do I get the software?
A: We send you a link to download the software.
Q: What if I need to move the software to a new computer?

A: TurboLaw is on your computer but updates come via the internet.
Q: What are the system requirements for TurboLaw?
A: Unless your computer is very old, you should have no trouble running TurboLaw. The most important thing you need is Microsoft Word version 2000 or greater. Q: Is there a network version of TurboLaw?
A: There is no special network version of TurboLaw. You simply need to install TurboLaw on any computers you want to share the TurboLaw files and they can be networked.
Q: How difficult is TurboLaw to use and install?
A: TurboLaw is quite easy to install and of course we offer you any help you need. The installation on any machine takes less than 15-minutes and from there you are ready to start using the program.

A: No, TurboLaw Document Software is a separate, stand-alone program - although both programs can work together if you have both of them on your computer.

A: It seems like forever, but actually it has been since 1998 with the release of our first product for the Divorce and Family Law market called "Legal-Ease." TurboLaw was released in 2002 and is now the most popular document software in New England.
Q: Are the forms kept up-to-date?
A: Yes. Updates come on a weekly basis. We are constantly updating and adding to TurboLaw. When you turn on TurboLaw, it does an automatic check for updates. We also keep you informed via our monthly E-Newsletter.
Q: Are the forms accepted by the courts?
A: Yes. And we have thousands of customers to verify it. Check our references, or contact us and get references of Attorneys in your area.
Q: Are the forms state specific?
A: Yes. TurboLaw documents are exact duplicates of the state forms and are fully accepted by the courts.
Q: Can you edit TurboLaw forms and documents?
A: Yes. You can edit absolutely anything you like. Editing is easy because our documents are either created in Microsoft Word or Excel.
Q: Does TurboLaw have the HUD forms?
A: Yes. TurboLaw has auto-calculating HUD 1 and HUD 1A forms.
Q: What if there is a form that I need that is not in the software?
A: Just let us know and usually we can get it right in there.
