About TurboLaw Software
We launched our first product, Legal-Ease, in 1998. This product was specifically designed for Divorce and Family Law practitioners. It gained a most dedicated following among its hundreds of users in the Commonwealth, in large part due to the auto-calculating and editable Divorce Financial Statements. Its successor product, TurboLaw, has been available since 2002 and is used by thousands of Attorneys and their staff in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. Our latest product, TurboLaw Time and Billing, continues our tradition of excellence and ease-of-use.
Our Staff
Tom Whitestone, President and CEO
As president of Promethean Software Corporation, Tom oversees strategic planning, development, and operations. Since becoming President and CEO, Tom has spearheaded market expansion for TurboLaw with the regular introduction of new document libraries. He is a founding member of the company and one of the two original developers of Legal-Ease, TurboLaw's predecessor product that dates back to 1998.
Tom is an avid BMW enthusiast, and can often be found riding his Suzuki motorcycle throughout the Commonwealth. He is also an accomplished keyboardist, with concentrations in pipe organ performance, harpsichord performance, and choral conducting. He has two English Mastiffs, Churchill and Truman.
Jeffrey Shultz, COO
Jeffrey Shultz, our COO and a graduate of Boston University School of Law (Class of 1975, when law libraries consisted of two stone tablets), is also a founding member of the company as well as the second -- though he prefers the term "first" -- original developer of Legal-Ease. Jeff is well known for his wry sense of humor and his infinitively unsplit, rabid approach to grammar, with which you may already be acquainted.
When Jeff is not creating new documents, selflessly making the lives of lawyers and staff infinitely easier, you can often find him on his giant Honda Gold Wing motorcycle collecting assorted flying insects on his windshield.
Keith Survell, Director of Software Development
Keith Survell, our Director of Software Development, is also a founding member of the company and is the person who actually creates TurboLaw's software products. He is also the head of the Technical Support Department here at Promethean, and is our self-proclaimed "company's computer guy."
Keith is somewhat camera-shy, which is why you won't find many pictures of him on our website. He is also a bit of an amateur photographer, so he is often on the other side of the camera - which is where he prefers to be.
A self-proclaimed "rabbit person," when Keith is slaving away at all hours to make TurboLaw better, you can usually find his two pet rabbits, Gus and Betsy, at his feet keeping him company.
Danielle Mulryan, Director of Sales & Marketing
Danielle Mulryan, our Director of Sales & Marketing, joined Promethean's Sales Department in 2002. Tom and Danielle married in July, 2004, and she became a partner in 2005. On August 23, 2007, Tom and Danielle celebrated the birth of their son, Tristan Alexander, who will likely make partner in no time as well.
Tristan Whitestone, Baby
Tristan is the newest addition to our staff. We expect Tristan to be crawling his way up the corporate ladder within weeks!
Lauren Plant, Executive Secretary
Lauren is an accomplished dancer and is as funny as she is good at her job. We are also very pleased to have another person who can play the piano in Tom's office. While a self-proclaimed reality TV addict, Lauren feels that being the referee between Jeff's and Tom's offices is all the reality entertainment one person needs during the day.
